Does applying guarantee work from KLD?
No. Approval adds your business to KLD’s subcontractor network. Work is offered according to client requirements, location, availability, trade and compliance status.
What documents will I need?
You should provide current insurance and relevant trade qualifications. Depending on your work, this may include Gas Safe, NICEIC or NAPIT registration, a waste carrier licence, DBS, asbestos awareness, working-at-height or other evidence.
What happens after I apply?
KLD reviews your company details, coverage, references, insurance and qualifications. We may contact you for more information before making a decision.
Can I apply if I cover an area outside Teesside?
Yes. Tell us the towns, counties or travel radius you cover. Applications are assessed against KLD’s present and future client requirements.
